  1. A dodo is an extinct BIRD, that was formerly
  2. found on the island of Mauritius, It was 
  3. exterminated before the end of the 17th 
  4. century. Although related to the pigeons,
  5. it was larger than a turkey, with a bulky
  6. body and very short wings and tail. 
  7. Flightless and trusting, it was easy prey to
  8. humans. Resently scientists have brought 
  9. forward plans to "bring back" the dodo using
  10. DNA.
